Schedule your session early:
It's best to schedule your newborn photo shoot within the first two weeks of your baby's life when they're still very sleepy and easy to pose. This will help ensure that you get the best possible images.
Choose the right clothing:
Keep in mind that you'll likely be in some of the photos with your baby, so it's important to wear something comfortable and flattering. Avoid busy patterns or logos that can be distracting. Neutral colours such as whites, creams, grays, and pastels are always a great choice.
Prepare your baby:
Try to keep your baby awake for a little while before the shoot, so they're more likely to be sleepy during the session. Make sure your baby is fed and burped before you arrive, and bring extra diapers and wipes just in case.
Bring any props or outfits you'd like to use:
If you have any special props or outfits you'd like to use in the photos, be sure to bring them along. We have lots in our studio too choose from
Relax and enjoy the experience:
The most important thing to remember is to relax and enjoy the experience. Your photographer is there to capture the beauty and magic of your newborn, so sit back and let them work their magic.
Trust your photographer:
Your photographer is a professional and knows how to handle and pose newborns safely. Listen to their directions and trust their expertise.
Keep the studio warm:
Newborns are used to being in a warm environment, so we always keep our studio warm during the shoot. Dress your baby in light clothing so that they don't overheat, but be prepared to wrap them in a blanket to keep them cozy during the session.
By following these tips, you'll be better prepared for your newborn photo shoot and will help ensure that you get the most beautiful images of your baby.
And Remember HAVE FUN!!
